Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of hiltonheadmarineconstruction.com (the “Site”). “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the Site. By accessing the Site or contacting us through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Nature of the service
The Site is a marketing and lead-generation service for marine construction and dock repair in the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton area of South Carolina. It provides information about that work and a way to request a quote or contact us. We do not perform construction, installation, repair, or any other contracting work ourselves. That work is carried out by an independent, licensed marine contractor who is solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of their services.
Submitting a form or contacting us is a request for information or a quote — it is not a contract, and it does not commit anyone to any work. Any project that goes ahead is governed by a separate written agreement between you and the contractor performing it, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
Requesting a quote and contacting us
Give accurate information when you request a quote so we can respond usefully. We pass your request to the marine contractor suited to the work so they can contact you and quote it. We do not promise a particular response time through the Site.
Calls and texts about your request
We do not operate a text-message subscription program. The quote form includes a checkbox — never pre-checked — that you must check to submit the form, confirming that we may phone or text the number you provide about that request and the service you asked about. This consent is limited to your request; it is not marketing, and we do not use it to enroll you in anything ongoing. If you would rather not give it, contact us by phone or by email at support@hiltonheadmarineconstruction.com instead.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service plan.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Tell us on a call if you no longer want calls.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we handle the information tied to this consent is described in the Privacy Policy.
Estimates and pricing
Any estimates, price ranges, material specifications, or timelines mentioned on the Site are approximate and for general information only. Actual cost and schedule depend on site conditions, materials, labor, permitting requirements, and other factors specific to your property. A binding price can be given only by the contractor, after an on-site assessment by a qualified professional.
Independent contractors
The contractor we refer work to is an independent business. We do not employ, supervise, or control them, and we are not responsible for their work, conduct, licensing, insurance, or compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to your project. Before you hire anyone, confirm that they hold the licenses and insurance required for the work in your jurisdiction.
Informational content, not professional advice
Content on the Site, including guidance about permitting, insurance, and how docks fail, is general information only. It is not legal, engineering, financial, or other professional advice, and it does not account for your specific situation. Rules and agency practice change. Confirm anything that matters with the relevant authority (for example, SCDES or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) or a qualified professional before you act on it.
Images and media
Photographs and images on the Site are for illustration only. Some may be stock photography, digitally generated, or representative examples rather than projects completed for a specific customer. Finished work varies from anything shown here.
